I'm starting to really like my
Gizmondo. Now that I've got GPS fixed I can get maps. The camera takes nice pictures. It plays Family Guy videos quite happily, along with WMA music. It would send and receive text messages if I needed it to. And the silly golf game is fun, if a bit frustrating. The stunt car one is a hoot and the puzzle one realy compulsive.
The day I got mine the price dropped 100 quid (doh). At the new price it is a steal. I've got lots of different gadgets but if you told me I could only take one on a trip I'd take the Giz because it does everything. Gizmondo have a big stand at E3 (near one from a little startup company based in Redmond) and I wish I could go along and take a look. They have some nice ideas for future games and the platform makes them all possible. If they don't get squashed by the big boys they could be on for great things.
