Fish and Chips Friday
The queue for the fish and chip shop was very long last night. The is an english tradition of having fish on Fridays, and it seems that everyone was maintaining this yesterday. Fish deep fried in batter and a portion of chips is a pretty good meal in these parts, and the chippy in Cottingham where I live is pretty good too. They even do good mushy peas. My dad tells me that in some parts of the world people have not heard of mushy peas - how un-civilised.
