Digital technology is sometimes wonderful. Take this morning. I read in the paper a review of an album which sounded like fun. I fire up the computer and, whilst I clean my teeth it downloads the album from Napster To Go (costing me nothing). Then, whilst I have a shave, the music is moved from my PC onto my Portable Media Centre. And I listened to it in the car on the way into work. And now I'm in the office and we are up to track 6. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a Thunderbirds episode!
Oh, and the album?
Carbon Glacier by Laura Veirs. Very nice so far. Bit like Suzanne Vega with a slightly more country feel.
