New Place

It is a bit like when one of your favourite pubs closes and then repons after a makeover. You go back in and you wonder why they made the changes. You mutter about the different wallpaper and how the new chairs don't seem as comfortable, and how hard it is to find the toilets.

But in a while the new style starts to grow on you, and you appreciate why the changes were made and it starts to feel like home again.

I'm kind of half way there at the moment with the new Spoke. I'm a bit upset that all the comments on my posts have gone, along with links to all the people I used to like to drop in on (I've not got a list of who they were, so I'll have to pick them up on the run - unless they will reappear later). The thing that upsets me most is that I never got to 20,000 reads on the old spoke (I was within a few hundred when the upgrade hit). Ho hum.

Anyway, it is great to have the spoke back. I've missed it - even if it was only off for a few days.

This worked for me: Go to one of your posts and click edit. On the edit form, scroll down and tick the allow comments radio button and the post. This should bring back your comments. Unfortunately, it appears you have to do it to all of the posts you want to see the comments for.
