Software Engineering with blue chalk

Had some fun in the Software Engineering tutorials today. I quite enjoyed the tutorials (not sure about the students). We were doing Use Cases, which are one of the ways you make sure that what you do is what the customer wants. Very important, a bit subjective, and great fun. I love it when I get asked the question "What's the best way?" and I can answer "There isn't one - just different kinds of wrong". At this point, when we are weighing up approaches in terms of their particular advantages, I reckon that we are becoming software engineers.

Great stuff. Even if I did end up covered in blue chalkdust.

Yeah :D I guess that is one of the nice things about coding...there is no "one way" to come up with something :) How come you ended up with blue chalkdust?

I was using a blackboard and chalk (none of your fancy teaching aids for this one) and I started using blue, liked the colour, and used it for the next two hours. Then I noticed that my hands had both turned blue....
