Been away for christmas. One thing that struck me was how much technology is about these days. Wherever we went people were brandishing their new mobile phones and talking about broadband and mp3s and stuff. Quite a few of the christmas presents were high tech - including mine - I got a PDA watch. I hope you all out there got what you wanted, hi-tech or not.

Yes, I did get a high tech gadget for Christmas and gave one, too. I gave my best friend an iPod and she gave me a new Palm TX.

I got some things that were hi-tech too. A 3-megapixel digital camera that's so small you need an electron microscope to see it and I also got a Dell Axim X50v PDA. Expect to see that in my fyp meetings somewhere in the near future.

The nearest I got to hi-tech pressies was a cow screen cleaner. Got lots of reading material though, plenty of Pratchett.
