Got a game for my PSP last week. Gottleib Pinball Classics. I've always been a bit of a sucker for the silver ball, and I'd heard good things about this game so I picked up a copy.
It is very good. As a simulation of the game it is highly impressive. It makes very good use of the PSP screen, showing a really sharp table which is pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing. The way that your view pans over the table to track the ball is very impressive too, just like you would watch the game for real. The only thing that I'm not too keen on is the actual tables that are available. I've not managed to play on all of them yet but they are a rather uninspiring bunch. I've not found one yet which has the class of Bally or Midway tables like my all time favourite, the Twilight Zone.
Having said that though, if you want a pretty darned real simulation of one of the best timewasters I've ever discovered, you could do a lot worse than grab this game. It even lets you download the tables into other folk's PSPs for them to play as well.
