I've been a member of the Consumers Association for a while. It sounds posh, but basically what it means is that they send you Which magazine every month. It is a consumer review magazine which covers everything from fast food to widescreen TVs. Today's copy arrived and had a feature on mobile phones. I'm usually upset by this, because they never mention phones like mine, what with it being a Smartphone and all. So you can imagine my surprise and pleasure at finding that my little SPV 550 is currently their favourite phone. It gets top marks for reception, battery life, camera and just about everything else. And to think that a couple of years ago Smartphones were not really worth taking seriously as "proper" mobiles. And that version hasn't even got version 5.0 of Windows Mobile on it either. Kudos HTC and Microsoft.
Of course the fact that Which like my phone doesn't actually make it any better as far as I'm concerned. I've had the reverse of this experience, where a bad review of something I quite like has made me rather unhappy with it for no good reason. But it is still rather nice.
