I thought today would be a good day. I thought my XBOX 360 would show up and tonight I'd be playing with it. Unfortunately not. I was worried that the parties involved (DHL and XBOX 360 support) would not take the issue seriously but I've now got a Trace Number from DHL and the XBOX 360 people have "escalated my problem". Phew. At this rate I could be back in the game by, with a bit of luck, 2008. However, it is important to keep these things in perspective. If the worst thing that happens to me is that I'm without a games machine for a few days then I reckon things are going pretty well. I'd hate to be one of these tearful people you see on consumer affairs programs who mope around whilst the voiceover goes "...and all they told him was that they had 'escalated his problem'....."

On the bright side, the DVD of Wallace and Gromit came out today, and so I got to watch the film again. And smile all the way through again..
