Mine is an Asus P5LD2 (which is a higher end board w/ 945P chipset) and I have an LCD monitor to make it look cool.

Uhm hahahaha Oliver..did I forget to say...this was an IOU from my parents? Hahaha...with hulugan scheme to pay? Hahaha..

Aids...What temperature are you getting for your motherboard and CPU? I'm afraid mine is quite high!

Jasper..I already have Windows XP from a previous purchase (my old old pc). I just reused the same license :D Yeah would like to try Vista if I can manage to get it running.

She: Oliver? (wow hmmm)
I was expecting that question. You can make it cooler by setting your processor's cooling fan to run at performance level, I think nasa Optimal level yan kaya quiet yung fan. Pero expect something of a noisy computer (unless your casing is fully enclosed unlike mine.... a swiss cheese casing) but the temperature will now hover around 50-55 degrees. But it's an Intel, it will last up until 100 degrees!

So that Windows XP version of yours is a retail version?

Am not quite sure if it is..I just remember buying it from the store...and it has no box so it may be OEM?

In any case...I am sure it is legit because no WGA warning of piracy ever came up in my years of using it :D Even now :D I guess I haven't gone passed the reinstallation limit of the program?

Ok will try that! :D Really? How come the technical specs said maximum tc temp is 63 degrees?

the tech specs just scares the heck out of you, I managed to run it at 65 and didn't conk out. Just set the fan speed to performance, and just save up for a better cooling fan too. The only bad thing about the Intel processor is that the cooling system is a tad weak/noisy.
