IIS7 is (slowly) on it's way
I was checking out yesterday's video at Channel 9 and Scott mentions that the ASP.Net got their first build of IIS7 today (9/8/2004). The ONLY mention I can dig up on the net about what features IIS7 will offer support for Indigo within the HTTP server. This means Internet/Intranet servers will be able to serve applications over HTTP in realtime... sweet.
I can really see some of my 'ideas for future computing' fall into place here. Indigo will allow use to use remote applications which run externally and internally at the same time. Of course this also gives that vendor DRM control over their Indigo app since the full EXE/DLLs aren't housed locally on yoru PC. Some like this idea (me) but many others don't as the concept is shocking. But that's a different subject.
