Chevy Blazers are a deathtrap, proof provided
I can't believe I still see people on the road driving Chevy Blazers. When I was doing homework to buy a SUV I was checking the only reliable resource for accident safety, which is the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IHS).
I'd like to point out that the Chevy Blazer has recieved the LOWEST rating possible by the IHS every year since they first tested it, around 1995. It's totally absurd that after 8yrs of making this vehicle that they haven't attempted to improve it's safety what-so-ever. This leads me to the simple conclusion that Chevy has ABSOLUTELY NO concern for your safety as a driver and removes me from considering any of their products. You can see the details at
their site and I've pasted the table below, used without permission (sorry!).

If anything, you must realize that if you get in a simple accident you WILL NOT walk away from it. IF you get in a serious accident, consider yourself fried tuna.
