The Linux & AMD hypocrite line starts here

The Linux hypocrite line starts here

It always amazes me how many ignorant opinions come out of the anti whatever crowd.  Back in the day, MS haters bashed MS for integrating IE into the OS.  Even though I realized this would increase Windows need for resources, I realized this was a good thing as now coders didn't have to re-invent the wheel and code their own HTML parser for apps.  You could say in the long run this actually reduces Windows need for ram/cpu as instead of loading 3 or 4 apps each with their own HTML engine, now they all access one engine, which is most likely better than their own.

Well things have come full circle and as of today, KDE (one of the two most popular UIs for Linux) has integrated the Mozilla engine/browser into the UI.  The sad part is, pretty much every MS hater that poked fun of MS for doing this about 5yrs ahead of the Linux community is probably embracing the idea.... like I said... hypocrites.

Well now Linux is basically just a 30 year old operating system that is struggling to catch up with the modern world. :-)

I kind of see it as a 10yr old OS trying to catch up to 35yr old technology (unix) as well as catch up to Windows. But whatever works for you.
