Ever wanted a show for coders, not an educational show (I'd like to see this anyways) but how about a documentary about the life of a group of coders working on a project.  Or to word it like the guy that headed this whole project "we wanted a more realistic version of 'The Apprentice').

Well guess what, such a show has been produced and released straight to DVD, I just received my order last night but I can't watch it for another 3 weeks because my wife commandeered the DVD as a Christmas present :(

If you want to read up more on the DVD check out this post at Joel on Software.  What's even more interesting, Joel is such a cool guy he even posted the financial costs of producing the DVD here.  That post actually gives you another reason to buy this DVD, Joel admits he didn't make the DVD to make a profit (he actually expected to break even at best) so that goes to tell you quality was more important than a quick sell.
