I too would be interested in knowing what's going on. However Nick, I would love to use the sony pd150 or 170 if used properly you can achieve some really amazing results with these cameras.

Well, it looks like we got an email. Although, it still doesn't have much information about the trip. Perhaps after this, things will really start taking off, and they'll update us on everything. Unfortunately, 3/4 of my group is 200 miles away right now. Maybe I can photoshop something together, hah.

We got that email too, but our Microsoft Canada guy Daniel already contacted us at the end of last week. He was super helpful and got all our fligt stuff is booked (with some special accomodations even) and our visa applications are underway.
Don't forget about shots and stuff if you're going to be going off on your own after the competition. Other than that, I think you're fine to sit tight until your regional leader contacts you. Visas at the Indian Consulate in Toronto can be processed and granted within a single day if you drop it off in person, so that's probably not an issue.
