I've downloaded the ISO from Microsoft Connect, but I haven't installed it yet (limited amount of partitions available). I hear it's got a few new features, such as cutting down the need to reboot. I suppose most people would be checking out Windows Server 2003 R2. Speaking of Windows server 2003, did anyone else get a copy of Microsoft Windows Server for Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition, as a prize from the Imagine Cup?

Yup, I got the SBE 2003 Server from Imagine by doing the IT challenge, so I was pleasantly surprised :-)  Thanks Microsoft!

As to whether I've used it - I get Enterprise (not the Star Trek variety ;-) ) edition from the MSDNAA program at UBC (University of British Columbia) already, so I haven't really touched the SBE edition.   I know the purpose of a server distro is to use it as a server, but for someone like me, who's short on hard drive space, and thus partitions, using it both as a workstation and server is really handy!  There's a great howto on this here:

Longhorn server... will have to look into that sometime.

I like using my Server OS as my desktop to. It really is nice. I have the partitions, I have the space, I just like the security

I haven't tried Longhorn Server, but I've used SBS 2003 Premium Edition. It's a very good package considering it all features the best of the Windows Server Systems.
