I have got a HP iPaq h2210.

I get my software mostly from http://pocketgear.com (you can download free trials of most of the programs on there which is handy) and http://www.handango.com see if there is any programs on there you like, if not you could try searching on google.

A program I find great is Innobec SideWindow (http://www.innobec.com/en/products.php) its a great program that lets you use your PDA as an extra monitor on your PC or laptop, I use it on my laptop as a media player remote controll, I leave my laptop in my bag and have the pda connected, then I drag the media player window across to the pda screen and plug my headphones in and it works really well (and i'm the talk of the college for that!)

Ive got a P910i and find it is actually a pretty piece of kit. I especially like its ability to edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files although the Powerpoint editing is difficult on such a small screen. Symbian can be a little frustrating though. I dont know if any exist but I would love a phone which runs a version of Windows CE.

I've got a Hewlett-Packard RZ1700 PocketPC, quite cheap, but it stores my notes, class schedules, and etc. literally replacing my paper notebook and pen.

I have a PalmOne Tungsten E, don't ask why, I bought it on a school trip once, I would personally advise anyone who wants a PDA to get one running Windows Mobile 2003 or later, I say this simply because I have not really enjoyed using my PDA because of the OS (Palm OS 5.2.1). Unless your sole worry is cost, do not go for a PalmOne.
