Every time I try to buy the premium subscription, I get an error message - the money gets taken but the purchase never goes through.  Any thoughts?

I am also getting the same problem. Now seems like I gota wait another 2 days for a support response. Grr :(

Well, its happened to me twice, and all I get from support is "try buying it again", but I don't understand what the problem is!

Anyone know?

I gave up on it. From what I saw, it just allows you to get Visual Studio.NET, but you should be able to get that for free through the MSDN Academic Allience if your school/university/polytechnic is part of it.

Problem is, I can't find out if my University is part of the MSDNAA, so resorting to this!

But no-one knows what the problem is?  Does everybody have this problem?

Contact Microsoft in your country, and ask to talk to their academic/educational division, and then ask whether your University is part of the MSDN AA. If they're not, I suggest talking to your University about joining:)

Call your credit card company. They have strict policies about billing for items that have not shipped. This should speed the process along.
