Hi guys,

I was a Microsoft Student Partner in UK & Ireland region for 2005 (Partners are the same as Ambassadors WW).

I have continued to conduct voluntary work on campus at Dublin's Trinity College for promoting new technologies and have worked actively in organising events on campus with Microsoft Developer Network in Ireland.

I also am a member of the INETA (Intl .NET Assocation) Community Council in Ireland aswell as the users groups: INDA & IrishDevs.

All links to the above on my blog or hub... thespoke.net/hubs/darrell

Its cool to see that there are so many of us ;)

Hi this is Sreenath H B, Microsoft Student Ambassador for RNSIT, Bangalore. I am part of a large community of .NET Enthusiasts from India, like Reza, Aswin who have posted here early. We have many portals which list us, and each state in India has its own way of managing the activities.

For example, my state, Karnataka alone has around 60+ champs and 12 ambassadors. So you all can imagine the magnitude of this program in India. (India has 29 states)

We have a lot of activity and constantly keep in touch with each other.

Check this list of student ambassadors in India: http://www.microsoft.com/india/msdn/academia/Ambassadors.aspx which is by no means complete due to the immense diversity we have here.

And yes this is getting to be a very long thread, hope someone does read my post!

Mr. Praveen Kumar.
YOU ARE A FAKE.

What do you mean by no Ambassadors in Chennai, We do have Student Champs and Student Ambassadors in Chennai and YOU are not one of them..

And there is no one from Rajalakshmi College who has anything to do with Microsoft. So I would say, dont try to fake your identity.

yes, i too was pretty much shocked.. Maybe someone conned him to think that he was some kinda microsoft representative.. and that he has been running around telling people that. By the way, is there such a title amongst students? I dont think so.

Even ambassadors here dont get to call themselves Microsoft Rep's!! Contact that college and get a champ elected from there.. (if possible). That will solve the confusion.
