My machine is old and slow and TheSpoke website seems to be a challenge for it.

I don't know what's the cause, but I suspect a Java Script code bloat. Anyway any page on the spoke takes 6-10 seconds to finish loading after being displayed and therefore it's unscrollable during that time. Also this drawback often causes IE to hang up in an unclosable (and I do mean TOTALLY UNCLOSABLE) way. The hung up IE process (and all it's windows) can be then turned off only by hard-reset.

Please do something with it - It's SO ANNOYING...

you are right. my cpu is 1Ghz and it really "takes 6-10 seconds to finish loading after being displayed".

This is a site heavy in DHTML and IE6 takes a while to render on slower CPUs.

The next version we're talking about having a "Low Bandwidth" version, that would be for slower computers as well.

For now, try FireFox.  It tends to process CSS much much faster then IE.

On my 4.2 Ghz machine, I can't tell a difference though between IE and FF.  :)

Thanks!
