Hey guys,

It really would be awesome if we can get even more students to join theSpoke. If anyone has ideas of how we can do this across the Globe, please share your marketing ideas here ;-)...we are all on the same team.

In Ireland, I would like to get more students to join thus allowing us to be more communicative with one another. At the end of presentations/workshops on campus, I always state that if people need to contact me, that by joining theSpoke, they can send me a message on the site itself or via the forums.

So come on guys, lets get our site out there!!!

Most of the students, just like in my school will always say:

"Ano ba ang mapapala ko diyan sa pagsali ko diyan?" (What benefits will I get if I join?)

One way to a student's heart is to let them see that as a student community we stand as one. We should show them that we have this "online-community life".

If you have ideas as to how we can grab more students to join us here, let's contribute! Post your ideas here!

Some ideas guys:

1.Maybe we can get some sort of offical/unoffical worldwide marketing campaign set-up to encourage people to join up to theSpoke.

2. Print leaflets and leave them beside university PC's so that students will see this and decide to check out theSpoke. Make sure though to let your University Students Union etc know that you are doing this beforehand.

3. Perhaps also ask your University to post a link on their website to theSpoke.

4. Maybe we can ask the guys @ theSpoke to maybe get some keyrings, pens etc which we can distribute to students. I already have theSpoke rucksack so I'm already marketing the site to everyone who sees me in Dublin whether that be on campus, on the train etc ;-).
