Hi all!

After many difficult nights of judging, we have finally come to a decision. I must say that all the entries were of very high quality and some of the teams really surprised us, with both their progress and creativity.      
Listed below are the six teams that advance to the world-finals in India. Please note that over the next few days we will be finishing student status verification.
This list below is random, therefore the position does not indicate the rank.

Team Echo - US
Team Skylined - Poland
Team LDLC - US
Team Saint - Taiwan
Team Ottomans - Turkey

Over the next few days, somebody from Microsoft will be getting in touch with you (if they have not done so already) to verify the requirements, and other logistics like arranging travel, etc.

I haven't seen every film that have been posted (because apparently 3 of the films above have been available for download)... but I believe they are the best from all entries.

Wow! I am REALLY REALLY EXCITED!! Woo INDIA!!!! I'm very surprised team cornucopia is not on the list :( I thought you had the best film in the competition.  But congratulations to all of the other finalist teams. Nick, Sinan, Julia and Jacek I look forward to seeing you all again, and meeting everyone in the new teams from Taiwan and the US.

Congrats everyone! I'm really interested to see the films that haven't been posted yet. India seems like it'll be great for meeting new people as well as being a bit of a reunion from last year... :)

I think this was the strongest year so far, there were some really top notch entries that didn't get selected (India, Sweden...).

As for getting the other finalists online after the competition, I'd be willing to contribute some bandwidth if those teams can't do it on their own.

Last night i have waited for results till morning, after couple of hours i get bored and i started refreshing forum's main page instead of shortfilms to watch who became online on spoke. Everytime i saw that a familiar nickname from forum became online, i fell liked i shared his/her excitement too, it was weird. Puffff  there was too much excitement for a night. 

Great respect to every team who spent too much effort on their projects. Hey guys, its going to be great to see u again and meet  new friends in india. dont u think that its going to be a little like dejavu:)
