I assume most of you are aware or will soon be aware of the bombings that took place in Bombay today. I would just like to say that my team's heart goes out to the victims in India, and that we are very upset that the world around us is still trying to tear itself apart. With that said we are very resolute in the fact that personally, we feel that the competition should still go on, if nothing less then to prove that everyone from every corner of the globe of different religions, races, and philosophies can still cooperate and work together to create some good in the world. I look forward to hopefully meeting you all,

I think it is safe to say that we all feel horrible about the bombings. The competition will go on though. A lot of thought has already gone into and will keep going into security (as it always does for events like this) because we all want everyone to be safe. We hope that everyone will have a safe and enjoyable time in India.

I heard that news too. We are really sorry for the victims and the families of victims. I guess the assailants had various, complicated reasons, but terrorism is tottaly wrong way. Why they can't understand the pain of losing friends and family? They don't care about that? Is there anything more important? I can't forgive this because I can't stand losing my family and friends by such absurdity accidents. To tell the truth, I'm feeling fear, but we want to say our team keep on with an indomitable spirit. See you in India, guys.

Mourning for the victims. It's really sad and frightening whether it's Bombay, Madrid,  London, New York, Tokyo or Moscow.

But in any case I am sure the Imagine Cup organization will be all thumbs up including security.

The Dutch team was already aware that there's always the risk of being tartgetted by terroristic attacks in such countries. Although we feel bad for the families and friends of the people that passed that day, we see no reason why we shouldn't be present at the ImagineCup in 3 weeks. Many things can happen in that timespan and we're hopeful that it'll be for the good.

Next stop, India!

We recieved a mail telling that everything is being done to ensure the safety of everyone, which isn't all too different from what could've been expected in the first place. If you're one of the finalists, check your mailbox for the mail. :)
