Can you share any matherials from the final round?

What was the task, questions, etc?

Unfortunately I think that this is not possible because I'm not authorized to share this information with others competitors.

But I can write some words about final round:

• There was 5 milestones:
• sending a mail
• creating a DFS and accessing from branch office in time of an Internet outrage
• encripting a file using Windows Rights Management Services (RMS)
• encripting acces trafic from wirelles kiosk to internal resources
• monitoring, alerting and reporting a server failure from branch office
• Also at final we must respond at 15 questions: (I' did'nt remember the order or all questions)
• presenting a detailed diagram of implementations (Printed from Visio)
• 5 minutes story about network and services
• sending a signed and encripted mail using Exchange, Outlook 2003 and RMS (from branch)
• securizing the user's desktop by using AD and GPO
• creating and importing a huge database in SQL Server 2005
• Demonstrating Reporting Services
• MOM
• WSUS
• SharePoint
• creating a custom web application for web users
• monitoring Administrator logon in the network etc
• Hardware resources:
• 4 servers (2 in central office, 2 in branch office) Max config: 1 Gb RAM, HDD IDE!!!! 80 Gb
• 1 laptop
• 1 printer
• Time to complete 24 h

Reporting services> We must used to create a report based on a database imported in SQL Server.

Web App> For few tousands of users that must consult by using an username and a password to view own data. I did'nt solve this point :(

We have permision to consult only .com, .net, .org domain not others... :( But the Internet working very very slowlly and was'nt helpfully enought. No laptops, no books, no files on MP3 players... only your knowledge and a little Internet...
