Hi All!

I'm a bit experienced JAVA programmer (or so I think). I'm digging in to C# ( & .NET) these days. I could'n find any tutorials that suits my taste though. I don't want some guide that teaches you how to drag and drop controlls from the tool box in to the form. Can somebody point me to some TECHNICAL tutorial on Windows Forms (something that involves internal architechture, threads and so on) ?

Thanks.

Hello

I suggest you get your self a C# (e)book because it helps you understand how things work more than tutorials although you can certainly find some very good tutorials over the net... try google :) and lemme know if you couldnt find anything

Hey Arjuna, I'm the same person (asiri_Ox9 in .NET forum there). I have a set of C# tutorials, but none suits my taste. that is the reason I made a post here. (I need a more technical guide)

Hi Asiri,

If u want technical stuff, read the blogs, articles and whitepapers on MSDN, tons of stuff there, though digging through all of it may take some time. http://windowsforms.net has articles on this matter as well. If your interested in all this techincal stuff, dont look under C#, but look under the .NET Framework. I'm sorry i cant be more specific here b'cos this is a rather broad topic.

There are a LOT of cool info on the Emerging technologies from microsoft like the windows presentation framework, and windows communication framework over at MSDN. I suggest that u download those CTP's from microsoft (WinFX, etc...) and relavent documentation and start from there, That stuff is reeeeeeeelllly deep and interesting :D, plus put up a post on the LK forums. Google some topics that ur interested in, with the '.Net Framework' keyword, that should get u started :D

Happy Hunting,
Regards,
charith a.

Hello

It depends on what you mean by technical details... what do you really mean?

I'll give you my MSN in a private message. It's hard to find a good book for C# but you can find many help on site www.microsoft.com on MSDN. Try it!!! or you can buy a MS-PRESS book... It's cheap.

The best teacher is San google!!! jaja see you

My english is bad but I am trying to improve it... jeje

Good luck everyone... :-)
