theSpoke is a wonderful site: a meeting place for hundreds (thousands?) of young people world wide interested in technology, most of whom are computer saavy, do web development, etc. and so on.
theSpoke is also a source of frustration: bug fixes take a long time to come to fruition, we (the loyal subscribers) are deluged by spammers on our blogs, forums, and gallaries, and there is the increasing sense that things just aren't going to get better.
So how's this for a solution: LET US FIX IT. Why can't theSpoke administrators open up applications for user-admins, user-developers, user-watchdogs, etc, and let us repair the problems, fix the bugs, delete the spammers, and do all the things we've been promised now for several years.
Who's up for a challenge?
